Made famous by Pierce Brosnan in GoldenEye, this watch marked the beginning of the modern era for the Seamaster line. With its signature blue wave dial, helium escape valve, and robust quartz movement, it remains one of the most recognizable and wearable dive watches ever produced.

This particular example is a rare, collector-grade “full kit,” complete with its original boxes, cards, and tags—a set that is becoming increasingly difficult to source in today’s market.

Condition Report

This timepiece presents beautifully. The case and bracelet have been freshly polished to restore their original luster while meticulously maintaining the sharp lines and factory chamfers. To preserve the integrity of the steel, we have left a few very minor “flea bites” on the lugs—a conscious choice to avoid over-polishing and to maintain the watch’s original, sharp profile. The iconic blue wave dial and aluminum bezel insert are in excellent condition, and the crystal is completely scratch-free.

• Movement: Omega Calibre 1538 (Quartz) – Fully serviced and performing to factory specifications.

• Bracelet Fit: Sized to comfortably fit a 7.5-inch wrist. (Note: No extra links included).

• Technical Note: This movement features the correct factory-spec “slow date-change” system, where the date begins to transition around 11:30 PM and centers between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM.
