Condition & Service Notes
- Movement: Omega Calibre 1538 quartz.
- Case & Bracelet: The entire watch has been professionally and conservatively refinished in-house to exact factory specifications, yielding crisp lines and an excellent overall finish. Deeper marks were intentionally left untouched to preserve the original case geometry and metal thickness. bracelet fits up to a 7.5-inch wrist (no extra links included).
- Bezel (Macro Photography Note): We shoot our inventory under intense macro studio lighting to ensure absolute transparency and zero surprises. Because of this harsh lighting, the scratch on the original aluminum bezel insert appears significantly deeper and more pronounced in these photos than it actually looks on the wrist under natural lighting. We prefer it this way—we want the flaws to look worse on screen than they do in person.
- Crystal: Scratch-resistant domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
- Dial: Classic blue wave dial with excellent luminous markers and skeletonized hands.
A Note on the Date Change
This caliber uses Omega’s factory gradual date transition: the wheel engages around 11:30 PM and completes its rollover between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM. This is correct, factory-engineered operation for the Caliber 1538 movement, not a fault.
